CARISSA GOES BACK-TO-BACK

4/1/13: Hawaiian Carissa Moore has made it back-to-back Women’s WCT wins after taking her first Bells trophy just a little over a week after winning the second stop of the Women’s tour at Margaret River. Held in some of the best Bells ever for the women, Carissa put on a display of surfing (especially in the semi-finals) that had Occy saying, “that looked like a man turn… I mean really”. Some people were saying it was the best display of women’s surfing ever. With two wins in the first three events of the year, Carissa now sits a top of the Women’s rating heading into the 4th event this week in New Zealand. Close behind is fellow Bells finalist Tyler Wright. With only 7 events this year it looks like a two women race so far. Congrats Carissa and good luck in New Zealand.
