Luke Davis won the ASP 4 Star Surf Open Acapulco in flawless two to four foot surf at Playa Revolcadero, Acapulco, Mexico. This marks Davis’s first ever ASP Qualifying Series victory. “The last time I made a final was in Virginia about four years ago, where Brother (Kolohe Andino) beat me, so to finally win boosts my confidence so much. I’m just going to go back home now and surf, relax, and get ready for the U.S. Open.” The surfer from San Clemente has taken out his first ever ASP Qualifying Series victory, in the final against Noe Mar McGonagle, the stand out of the whole event.
Luke hoisted up the beach by the San Clemente boys; Jake Davis, Dylan Goodale, Ian Crane, and Michael Dunphy.
2nd place finisher Noe Mar McGonagle was ripping the entire event on his backhand.
Luke won the event on the new model from …Lost surfboards, the V3 rocket. Looks like this fine lady likes Lukes’s rocket too.
