…lost shaper and co-founder Matt “Mayhem” Biolos celebrated his birthday last Saturday… well, we all kinda celebrated it by heading down the Lowers with the crew and ruining everyone else’s weekend. Ladened with surfboards, umbrellas, food, our barbecue, a giant cooler plus all the stuff that goes into a giant cooler we descended upon Trestles. The waves were pretty fun too. Here’s some pics from the celebration.
Welcome to Lowers.

This time the groms didn’t have to hike up to Carls Jr. to get some food.
Someone couldn’t fit in the screen.
The action in the water wasn’t bad either. Matt Biolos, Noah Budroe, Noah Alani and Shane Beschen taking interest.
Here’s what they’re looking at. That’s Kolohe Andino way out yonder.
Refueling for the next session… unless he just likes to walk around in his wetsuit.
We brought in some heavy movers to lug all our stuff back up the trail.

The kids don’t mind a good beach party.
And neither do the adults.
The birthday boy’s quiver. He actually rode his third option all day. A high-performance shortboard.
He brought his own hot dogs.
Noah Beschen didn’t spend much time on the beach.
You’re allowed to have a few on your birthday.
And a few toasts.
Shane and Noah Beschen.
Eventually it was time to pack up. A great time was had by all.
